A2 Films

We're Ahmad Adham and Wendy Tu – partners in life and creativity, based here in Boorloo (Perth).

Wendy was born and raised in Boorloo (Perth). Ahmad moved from Singapore to be with her, leaving behind a familiar sun and stepping into a new one. Since arriving, he's been captivated by the intensity of the Western Australian light – how it transforms his cyanotypes in ways he's still learning, how it reshapes his photography, and how it's reshaping him. Every print he makes is a conversation between his past and his present, between the sun he knew and the sun he's getting to know.

Together, we've built a creative practice that reflects our shared journey: two perspectives, two cameras, one life we're building side by side.

Our Film Swap Project:
One of our proudest collaborations is our ongoing film swap project. We each take a roll of film to different corners of the world – Ahmad in Barcelona, Wendy in Japan, and beyond – and expose our frames over each other's images. The result is a layered, dreamlike conversation between two places, two perspectives, and two creative minds. These limited-edition prints are a true labour of love, and we're so excited to share them with the Perth community.

What We Do:
🌞 Sun-Print Art – Original cyanotypes on cotton and paper, each piece a unique reaction between light, chemistry, and the the textures of Boorloo (Perth) landscape.
🌏 Film Swap Prints – Limited-edition, double-exposed photography from our travels – Barcelona, Japan, and beyond.
🎬 Wedding Photography & Videography – We document love stories with a candid, documentary-style approach. Ahmad brings cinematic videography; Wendy captures intimate, unscripted moments on film. Together, we tell stories that are real, romantic, and beautifully timeless.
