JC Handmade Pottery

I am an emerging potter. I believe in the beauty of functional handmade objects using clay. For me, creating pots is a mindful and deliberate attempt at slowing down, connecting to something deeper, and taking time to appreciate the pleasure of each piece.

Each hand thrown bowl I create is beautifully glazed with inspiration drawn from swimming in the turquoise waters of Cable Beach to living on the shore line of Madora Bay, yet humble in character for all to possess.

Pottery is teaching me the art of patience and the joy of taking one day at a time.
